Part-time or shift-workers can log hours through the calendar or via clock-in widget on the dashboard.

Overtime tracking

Recording additional hours worked by employees beyond their regular schedule is important as it ensures proper compensation and adherence to labor laws. Depending on where your workers are based, paying overtime rate in addition to the regular wage can be a legal requirement. Geofencing is a location-based technology that can help employers set the boundaries of the office or work site to only accept the start and end of the shift if employee is within the accepted distance from work. Zelt’s optional geofencing for clock-in offers multiple benefits. From accurate time tracking, limiting human error when submitting a shift report to ensuring accountability. Zelt’s geofencing will not drain your battery, like some other services, as we only verify the location at the time of change (starting/going on a break/finishing). Respecting your employee’s privacy – Zelt will not store location history or try to track the location when employees are not clocking-in.

Custom approvals

Like in other places in Zelt, custom approval logic is essential to empower your teams and leaders. Set custom approval rules for each schedule so only managers or only selected administrators or users are responsible for approving any of the timesheets.
